An
American multinational software maker sets plans to launch its first-ever
Office suite of applications for Apple’s iPad. According to some sources, the
software is expected to make word-processing program word and spreadsheet-make
excel that will be obtainable on Apple’s iPad tablets and its smart-phones.
From
last 1 year, everybody is hearing this news that Microsoft is looking to bring
native versions of its office suite for one of the best and most popular
selling devices iPad. As per the analyst’s estimation, the company can generate
extra revenue of about $2.5 billion per year.
When
it comes to talk about the current way of running true version of Microsoft
Office on a tablet, then users need to use a Windows RT-based tablet such as
Microsoft's own Surface RT that you can find with a tablet-centric cut-down
version of Office.
"We
don't take it from the point of view, 'Do we need to have the PC software
that's running on every single device?’ we look very much at 'What is the
experience that we are looking to have on those devices'," said Kurt
DelBene, head of Microsoft's Office unit.
We
can say that it is a best way for Microsoft to move towards the success and
huge growth especially in the business world. Today, more than 90% of people,
who purchase iPad tablets, are businessmen, according to a survey of users by
Good Technology.
DelBene,
who is a current leader of Office, didn’t directly said the company is putting
native versions of Office applications on the iPad, but close sources clear
this news by providing some information about company’s plans.
When
it ask the accessibility of Office on Apple's iOS, DelBene strained online
versions of office applications that can be used through browser; however apps
do not offer the complete facilities of installed software or an application.
DelBene
said, "We've actually done a lot of work on iOS devices this time around.”
He also added "We have enhanced the web applications pretty substantially,
in partnership with Apple."
The
company is going to offer native iOS versions of its Office suite of
applications that include Lync communication suite, SkyDrive online storage
service, OneNote note-sharing software and SharePoint collaboration site
Users
can also customize these applications according to their needs and add their
desired features in these applications to use in their iPad. They just need to hire iPad app developer from any reputed company like Inside Apps Development and get their desired application for their
iPad.
